Heather Burdeaux

As a Medicaid-waiver case manager for 17 years, I have learned how to interpret and simplify complex state program processes. I have also spent this time alongside individuals with special needs and their families, finding solutions to unique problems that may or may not have pre-designed solutions.

As the mother of two young adults with special needs, I have over 21 years of experience accessing these resources. I have developed knowledge and tricks to persevere in places where many get stuck, give up, and fail.

My passion is improving the quality of life of individuals with disabilities, and I believe that access to resources is the key to that improvement.

I am energized by finding innovative solutions to problems and seeing previously closed doors flung wide open for everyone.
